This is the only source I know of for FT-243 crystals that has been economical and timely. Suggestions for obtaining newly made crystals are earnestly solicited! WHY "CRYSTALS" ? Some reasons include: 1.Collecting them as artifacts. 2.Testing purposes. 3.Operating. My reasons: 1. The "PRIMAL & PRIMITIVE" thrill of crystal control! Using a hunk of quartz mechanically ground down to size & one active device, crystal control is similar to QRP - providing a challenge and satisfaction the full featured modern rigs never give. 2.
