Post a message to:

Majordomo "at" piobaire "dot" mines "dot" uidaho "dot" edu

and write ONLY the words:

subscribe glowbugs

in the BODY of the message, FROM the e-mail address at which you wish to receive list traffic.

Anything you write in the SUBJECT line will be ignored, as will anything else you put in the body of the message.

If subscription is successful, you will, in due time, receive some administrative messages back from the majordomo server.

Subscription is NOT automatic. The list manager must "vet" each applicant and OK or refuse access to each potential subscriber. We do this so that spam-bots cannot so easily access the subscriber database.
