TubePad 1 Schematic Library.
This library was intended for use with Microsoft
Paint, utilizing it's on-board tools as a sketch-pad
for working out designs in schematic form, using
Paint's drop and drag features. It has come in
really handy for me for sending quick sketches of what
i am doing to friends, and it prints out nicely.
And, if you're like me, and use up erasers quickly,
it's easy to do corrections on a bitmap screen.
My ten year old daughter does it all the time ( She's
the one that showed me how. . . )
The only real limitation is that the Paint screen is
kinda small. But for a 3 or 4 tube receiver, it's fine.
The Regenerodyne Receiver is drawn in TubePad.
Included in the folder are an assortment of Solid-State,
Digital and Hollowstate oriented symbols. Several files
are flagged " O.S. ", for 'Old Style' . These symbols are
modeled after the pre - WW2 style schematic symbols
for that nostalgic flavour . ( i always thought the modern
symbols were rather sterile, but who asked me ?? )
I hope this helps in your endeavours to create and
enjoy the classics of the Tube era, or whatever you
are buiding.
Keep 'em Glowing!
