Myself. . .about 35 years ago.

Welcome to my Home Page.

My home town is Missoula, Montana, although my wife Judith, who is originally from Springfield, Illinois, and I moved here to Moscow, Idaho in 1981. We subsequently had five children born here, the first in 1981, and they are now 25 through 19 years old. We have home-schooled all of them, and are traditional Roman Catholics.

The children are all quite musical, and all of them are in University at the moment, except our oldest daugher who is brain-damaged from birth.

I was born in 1942, and am the Electronic Instrument Specialist, Sr. for the College of Science, here at the University of Idaho. My office is in the Earth Resources Building, McClure Hall, room 113. My telephone number is (208)-885-6133.

I also used to play the Great Highland Bagpipe, and enjoy (primarily) Celtic and Baroque music. I also enjoy Single Malt Scotch at times, my favorite being "Lagavulin". I no longer can play the Bagpipes due to the effects of severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, but I still enjoy the music very much.

In addition, first licensed in 1956 as WN7EKB, I presently hold Amateur Extra Class license, W7EKB. My favorite areas of operating are CW and chasing DX with low-power, crystal controlled equipment, and building equipment. I really like BoatAnchors, i.e. large, very heavy, tube type equipment.
