purpose of Idaho Earthquake Information is to monitor, analyze, and report seismic events in
Idaho and the surrounding region so that Idaho's seismic hazards may be better understood. The
Idaho Geological Survey maintains continuing partnerships with the United States Geological
Survey, the Idaho Bureau of Homeland Security, and regional seismic networks.
